The Minnesota Department of Health provides guidance to schools to ensure all drinking water is safe.

At least every five years, public schools must test their water systems for the presence of lead and report these findings to the public.  Lead concerns are much more common with older buildings and older drinking water systems.  As more and more schools, like ERATS, are able to construct new facilities using lead-free materials, lead contamination will become extremely rare.

Our testing program and results will be available here soon.
