The East Range Academy school board has established the following policies to determine participation in the May graduation ceremony and the credits necessary to earn a diploma.

Students who have completed all credit requirements and who have no outstanding hours to make-up by the date of graduation will be able to participate in graduation ceremonies and will receive a diploma at the event.  

Students who have met early graduation requirements will be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremonies and will receive a diploma at the event.  (Students who meet early graduation requirements may request a copy of their diploma earlier if needed.)

Students who are deficient in credits at the date of the graduation ceremony will not be allowed to participate in the event.

3.5 Credits        Science
            1.0 Physical Science
            1.0 Biology
            1.0 Chemistry or Physics
            0.5 Environmental Science

3.5 Credits         Social Studies
            0.5 Economics 9 or 12
            0.5 Geography
            0.5 World History
            1.0 American History
            0.5 Government or Civics

1.0 Credit        Art
            Choir/Music/Fine Arts

0.5 Credit        Health

0.5 Credit        Physical Education

0.5 Credit        Technology

4.0 Credits       Electives


Total Credits to graduate:  21.5
