East Range Academy School Board Elections
School board elections are now open for the May 2023 election. The board will fill two seats with the candidates that received the most votes.

School board elections are held once a year. Several seats are elected at each election. The board must consist of at least (5) but no more than (9) members. Elections are held in May of the election year, with new members being seated at the first meeting in July. Terms last three years.
March: Candidates need to submit intent board applications no later than March 30th of the election year.
April: Sample ballots will be approved at the first board meeting of the month (April 10, 2023)
May: Parents, teachers, and board members will receive an email with voting information the week prior to the election. Elections will take place the first week in May (May 1-5, 2023). Voting will take place in person using a paper ballot at the school location and/or a secure online election ballot. Election results will be presented to the board at the first board meeting in May. (May 8,2023)
July: New elected board members are seated at the first meeting in July.
ERATS values parent input—please consider becoming involved on the school board. Parents can attend all meetings and committees, and, if interested, apply to be a school board member during the election period.
